Meet Tisha S. Hillman, Esq., The Author

After spending years writing contracts and agreements, motions, appellate briefs, opening statements, and closing arguments as an attorney, in 2026, Tisha S. Hillman, Esq. added Published Author to her resume-publishing her first full length book, The Chapter 13 Plan: Spiritual Recovery, Reclamation, and Reorganization of My Divine Birth Rite from a Morally Bankrupt System.

As an Author, Tisha is, inter alia, a linguist architect whose work examines how authority, consent, and compliance are structurally produced—and how they can be redesigned.

With a background in law and lived experience navigating debt, foreclosure, and institutional enforcement, she brings architectural clarity to systems that are often framed as inevitable. Her work focuses on identifying where sovereignty is siphoned through language, contracts, insurance, and internalized obligation, and on restoring conditions in which agency becomes sustainable rather than symbolic.

Tisha approaches remembrance not as nostalgia, but as a design principle. In systems that depend on forgetting to function, remembrance becomes a quiet form of rebellion—one that exposes their load-bearing illusions. She does not argue for sovereignty as an ideal; she maps it as a system.
